Oxford Horizon Academy recognises excellence and enables opportunities. That's why we offer merit-based scholarships for exceptional students from around the world

Scholarship Programme

At Oxford Horizon Academy, we believe that talent, curiosity, and potential know no boundaries. Financial circumstances should never prevent exceptional students from accessing world-class educational opportunities. Our merit-based scholarship programme identifies and supports the brightest minds from across the globe, bringing together a diverse community of future leaders who share a passion for learning and a commitment to making a positive impact in the world.

Scholarships Available

We offer a range of full and partial Scholarships for exceptional students around the world.

Full Scholarships (100% of programme fee): Cover the complete £5,999 programme fee, including all academic instruction, accommodation, meals, activities, excursions, university admissions support, letter of recommendation, and airport transfers. These are typically offered to top 1% of the applicants.

Partial Scholarships (10-50% of programme fee): Cover 10-50% of the programme fee (£600 to £3,000) of the programme fee. These are typically offered to top 5% of the applicants.

What's Not Covered: Please note that the Scholarships don't cover your travel to London, UK visa application costs (if required), mandatory travel insurance, or personal spending money.

Application Process & Timeline

Step 1: Apply to the Summer School
Submit your Oxford Horizon Academy summer school application. On the application form, indicate that you wish to be considered for a merit-based scholarship.

Step 2: Receive the Scholarship Application Form
Once you have submitted your summer school application and indicated your interest in a scholarship, our Scholarship Team will send you a dedicated scholarship application form. You will have 10 days to complete and return it.

Step 3: Complete the Scholarship Essay
The scholarship application form will primarily require you to write an essay of approximately 1,000 words on a given topic. Our Scholarship Team reads every essay carefully, looking for evidence of intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, analytical rigour, and authentic voice. Essays that stand out demonstrate original thinking, sophisticated analysis, clear argumentation, and a genuine personal perspective. You will receive a Essay Guidance Document along with your Scholarship Application Form.

Step 4: Review and Decision
All completed scholarship applications are reviewed by our Scholarship Team. Scholarship decisions are communicated by email within 2–4 weeks of submission. If you are selected, your notification will specify whether you have received a full or partial scholarship and the exact amount covered.

Step 5: Acceptance
If you receive a scholarship offer, you will have two weeks to accept your place. Deposits are adjusted based on scholarship awards.

Please note: Scholarships are limited and awarded on a competitive basis. We expect most scholarships to be awarded to applicants who apply to the summer school by 31 March 2026. Early applications are highly recommended.
